Some people call me a mutt, a mixed dog, a mongrel, but I don't like those. I am the best breed as it is a mystery. Mysteries are exciting.
My mom got pregnant kind of young and she was kicked out of the house. She and the rest of us ended up in a homeless shelter. There were six of us in all - 3 boys and 3 girls. We all got adopted, including my mom. I've seen one of my sisters since then, but she died several years ago from liver disease. She was the only one who was not white with spots. She was all brown with a little black mustache. I miss her. I don't remember my mom or my other siblings. Closed adoptions are not good.
Now, I live in a house with my mom and three other dogs that she adopted after me. She adopted me when I was a baby back in August of 2001. Mom's name is Kim and the dogs' names are Edgar, Mojo, and Bentley. The other dogs are all boys - stinky boys who have no manners.
I like to play frisbee. I taught myself how to catch it many years ago and have loved it ever since. No one else is interested which suits me just fine.
Mom lets me sleep in bed with her if I can manage to sneak in and not let the others know. She feels that everything has to be equal, but really, I am the top dog and they just need to deal with that.
